EcoPlanet Bamboo Southern Africa is a bamboo plantation subsidiary of EcoPlanet Bamboo Group. The company owns and operates the Kowie Bamboo Farm in South Africa's Eastern Cape and is currently restoring the nearby Glenfillan Farm with bamboo.
EcoPlanet's Kowie Bamboo Farm represents the first successful commercial bamboo plantation in South Africa and has set the platform for bamboo to become a viable commercial tree free, deforestation free fiber for the country. With this pilot farm successfully established, EcoPlanet is now undertaking a significant scaling of this fantastic nature based solutions initiative.
EcoPlanet Bamboo Group is the largest owner and operator of bamboo plantations globally with additional operations in Nicaragua, Ghana, Rwanda & the Philippines.
